Great socially responsible ball!Oct 23, 2009 Although the price is higher than that of other balls, I think it's definitely worth it in order to pay fair wages to the people that make them, instead of exploiting them in order to push huge profits for a company that will pay its CEO insane bonuses precisely to exploit these people (and their children) for profit.
It's really hard to find fair trade sports equipment, so I was really glad to find this company. It's a shame they don't have more stuff: cleats would be great :-)
I had bought another one of Fair Trade Sports' soccer balls in the past and it worked great. The only drawback I thought it had was that it had "Fair Trade Sports" in huge letters all over it, and although I do love the company, I think the new design with "Repect" on it is much better.

Love These Balls!May 16, 2009 Okay, first, this company rocks!
Eco friendly balls, fair trade, and gives back to charities. The balls are world class quality and the colours and designs are sweet. Yeah, you pay a bit more, but you know you are using your spending power to do some good things. If you can afford it, worth it!
